Choccolocco Park is a nationally ranked, award-winning 300+ acre recreation complex set in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. It includes a 27 acre man-made lake, championship baseball and softball field, 5 field softball pod, 4 field baseball pod, 4 soccer fields, track and field complex, playground, over 3 miles of walking/biking trails, creekside swings, and a disc golf course. The park is also home to the Choccolocco Archaeological Complex that is now part of the Alabama Indigenous Mound Trail featuring two rebuilt mounds, meandering trails and informational kiosks telling the local history of the Muskogee Creek Nation. Choccolocco park plays host to many high school and college state and conference championship tournaments, professional softball, college track and field, regional attraction drive through Christmas lights and more.
